Hi!
How are things going?
I've had a bad week with three wakes and funerals. Fr. Paul Avallone's, the mother of a friend, and my former pastor who was also my spiritual director. Today I learned that a fellow Rosarian and member of the Parish Council suffered a brain aneurism yesterday and had surgery. I don't know her condition yet. Please keep her, Debbie Pouch, in your prayers. I pray that she has no brain damage. Last week started out so beautifully with the Jubilee celebration. I know that good days are ahead. And I firmly believe that those who have died are enjoying the full presence of Jesus. It's just kind of hard to wrap my mind around the fact that they are not here anymore. Hope that they are helping to prepare a place for me!
What is occupying your time these days? Where are you now? Are you at Newton or have you still to move in there. Newton is such a beautiful place. I was on a Cooperators' retreat there a long time ago and I just love the chapel!
Keeping you in prayer as I hope you are keeping me in yours.
Peace and blessings,
Judy
Silly me broke the Salesian Blogroll Pipe. Can you please restore it? Thanks! :-)
Yes Brother John and I have been friends since 1977. He told me a lot about you. I am so glad that your health has improved so that you can pursue your vocation. I actually met you at New Rochelle when you came East for your interview. You had lunch at the same table as I did. Will you be at the Jubilee celebration on Sunday? If so, perhaps I will see you there.
God bless!
Judy
Will forward the email to you.
God bless
