This could be helpful for all of us trying to discern our vocations:

This is advice from Don Bosco to those young people trying to discover their vocation:

"Let me show you another way to help determine your call in life. Look at a crucifix and say, "God, I want to choose that state of life which will give me the deepest satisfaction at the moment of my death. Enlighten me; make known to me Your holy will." Then say the Our Father and silently wait to hear what your heart tells you." Many who have followed this council have often decided upon a very different career from what they had first planned. The Lord gives this grace to one who is sincere and determinded to follow a divine call.

Hi Bro. Sean, haven't heard from you in a while. Hope that you are well and finding many blessings in which to rejoice during this Christmas Season. As we approach the New Year, may the graces of the Lord continue to fall upon you. Judy

Hi Sean! I just read E-Service and learned of your intention to join the Mission Team. How wonderful! The missionary vocation requires great selflessness and courage. You have experienced missionary life already, so you know what it entails. I will be surely be praying a little harder for you now. You can count on my support. God bless!

Thanks for the welcome Sean. I really do need the prayers, thank you and may God bless you. Girls reall get me pretty nervous most of the time, and every time I see one now, this pain in my chest starts to kick up. I hope I'll talk to you later.

hi bro!

thanks for dropping by, and for the welcome.
i am happy to be here at ning. i think i could learn from you and the other members--things that i could share to the young....

i am in my last semester for philosophy.
i hope i would pass the comprehensive exam...

postnovitiate is a little difficult compared to the novitiate because you are already out of the "womb" of the congregation. its the real world. just a little sharing from my experience: this is a challenging stage but all the challenges makes us grow to be better salesians. it is the where we, sometimes, make little mistakes but we know we are growing "baby salesians"....how's the analogy? hahaha

ok...its almost midnight here in the philippines and we have just arrived from our quarterly recollection....i'll sleep now.... i just checked my mail.

ok...gtg
with prayers...
happy feast day of our lady of the rosary!

I just wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the video about the "2007 Trip to Philly" with the Sons of Mary. It was great to see some of the people I already knew, like John Paul and Deunel and Father. God bless you! If you ever get a chance to come this way, let me know...we welcome salesians with open arms...and lots and lots of mexican food!

Hey, Br. Sean! Did you leave an added comment for me a day or a few days ago? I'm only asking because if you did I didn't purposely not respond. I was having some trouble with my page on this site. But I think I got it fixed now. Hope to hear from you soon! God Bless! John McKevett

Hey, Br. Sean. I just checked my e-mail a short time ago, and it said you added a comment for me. I'm having a bit of trouble finding it though. I'm not sure what I might be doing wrong in finding it. I told Br. Mike this too, since he added a comment for me also. But I'll keep looking for it, though. I'll have much to share with you as to my spiritual journey as I'm sure you may have much to share with me as to yours, also, as I've been letting everyone else I've met online know, as I've tried to remember, knowing Don Bosco has only made my spiritual journey all the more exciting! Till Later, God Bless! John McKevett. Oh! I've got a picture of myself and as soon as I can, I'll post it online, I just need for someone to show me how. Ha! Ha!
