- About Me:
- Catholic, convert 4 yrs ago, still searching what god id calling me to do. he has blessed me with a non-curable illness so that I may share in his suffering and have my hand on the cross. He has allowed me to improve to the astonishment of many specialist. he has changed me to to see good and Jesus in all people with out judgement. I teach RCIA, I am an Eucharistic Minister, I work at the Parish. But I know there is more I am called to do, I am a living witness to the power of prayer. I visit with my best friend often in Adoration, we can visit as freinds as he sits next to me. I trust him and I love him with all my heart ,soul and mind. I am a convert only 4 yrs ago, prior to that no formal religion just a big sinner, and yet he knew me by name and held my hand to him, I am so blessed.
I have been married for 37 yrs and have 3 children two daughters 32 and 35 and a 15 yr old son. My 35 yr old daughter fell victim to drugs many years ago and is still an addict, so now we are raising our grandchildren 1 and 3 yrs old. So pray for my daughter.
My son and wife have fallen away from the church, do not attend Mass or even attempt to pray. I feel so alone in the pew without them. I have know idea why my wife just stopped, then she would ridecule me and my many activities with the church and my adoration and prayer time. She has some what stopped that but it has put a tremendous strain on our marriage.I pray for her all the time but any attempt to talk about the church or God is met with she does not want to hear it. I do not know what happened it was like it was over night. She went on vacation with some friends and when she returned she has never returned to Mass. For awhile I allowed that to take me away from some of my prayer time and other activities thinking if I would spend more time with her then she would change. But I found that only took the joy from my heart and so I am back and in full steam with God and the Church and my joy has returned,she is not to joyful about it. But I cannot and will not let the devil pull me away. I pray for her constently and she must get right with God I cannot make her do it. I thought I could, but Jesus told me I can only change myself. So I am back God thank you.
So if any of you would pray for my family and help me have the strength for my grandchildren.They are so pressuse and have had a very rough life until now.
Any of you Brothers or Sisters that can offer spiritual Guidance and advice I will gladly listen.

- How did you hear of the Salesians?
- Through St. Francis De Sales, I enjoy and admire his knowledge and how current his writings are even though he wrote them many years ago. That led me to this web site and now the studying of Don Bosco. Also visiting with the new friends I have.
- What do you think God is calling you to?
- still efflecting on my charisms, serve the ill evangilize teach, work with the poor. and be a witness to the power of prayer. So many moments in my life that he was there and brought me back.
