No I dont think that is Our Lady as first of all Our Lady never wore pants and Our Lady is very modest. No comparison should be made with Our Lady. Do only pray for this lady whoever you saw but please do not compare her to Our Lady.

- It should not be about me. But others care about credentials when they evaluate ideas. So if that will help, I am married and a father of 4 young children. I work as a software developer and have an MBA from U. Md, College Park. I used to be a seminarian with the Salesians of St. John Bosco. I’ve had post-graduate theological training from CUA, the Josephinum and the Pontifical and Regal University of Santo Tomas. I also took classes from Loyola, New Orleans and technical training from vendors. Among my past employers are AT&T Bell Labs, MOBIL, and the Archdiocese of Washington D.C. I taught in US inner city and suburban Catholic schools in Dixie and the mid-Atlantic states. I’ve been in Asia and Central America where I worked with the poorest of the poor. I am also a reserved military officer. But at the end, all these are from God. And His Son Jesus is the One you should know more about.

Our Lady ... in blue jeans?
My grandma’s first wages were in US silver dollars. She had them forged into a Rosary then gave them to my mom. I don’t recall seeing my mom use it much but she prayed when she’s in crisis. When she was visited by a dead aunt who asked about me, she prayed the Hail Mary. But the aunt did not vanish; she prayed back with the Holy Mary. I was an infant then but that was my first involvement with the mother of God.

Tolerating abortion like the parable of the weeds?

In the article above, Fr. Langan tells the bishops to back off because they’re just being played and that they’re not considering the big picture with all the good that’s happening. And he proposes that we go along and tolerate abortion because it is impractical to criminalize the supply. But the demand can be reduced. It may not be the perfect solution, but it is good. And the best is the enemy of the good… Continue

- What you say is very true! and in my own home country it is not appropriate. But here in Africa they have a basic trust and all the community is seen as being invovled in the bringing up of children. It was a social occasion and the child felt free to come to me and sit on my lap seeking a bit of attention. But thanks for the feedback.
