Your photos are really great and fun to watch! I'm sorry I don't have one of myself anymore. When I first started on this website I did have one of me, but I don't know what happened to it. I'll get another one though as soon as I can.
Hey Mike. Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I just got back home from a week retreat with a parish youth group.
A "Son of Mary" is the title given to a person who is just starting his formation with the Salesians. that's about all that i know, lol i know it's not much. but some of the other guys here can help you out if you have any other questions.
Oh, and thanks for responding back! =)
Hey Mike! It's great to have another Scouter on the site. I was the Assistant Scout Master for my parish's Boy Scout Troop. It is so much more fun than i could ever remember (especially since i didn't have to do any of the work =P i just let the kids to everything, haha)

About Me:
I am an educator, here in the Bay Area. I am a huge fan of Don Bosco. I am member of Newman Hall Holy Spirit Parish, in Berkeley. I am in graduate school at UC Berkeley. I am studying education. I am also a scout leader, and an actor. I am now a catechist (for teens) at Newman Hall, in Berkeley. Please pray for us, as we grow in our faith and spiritual formation.
How did you hear of the Salesians?
My sister worked at Salesian High in Richmond CA. She thought I should learn more about Don Bosco, and the Salesians.
What do you think God is calling you to?
I feel called to serve the Church as an educator. I would love to teach in a Catholic school, and teach Catechism. I think that the three central points of the Salesians (as far as I can tell); spiritual formation, education, and recreation, are just what I also believe are important in the whole formation of a young person. So, I would like to know more about the Salesians.
