Hey, don't practice those bagpipes too much and run off to Ireland and pursue sort of bagpipe fantasy! :) Well, I'm glad to hear I'll still be able to enjoy your rendition of 'Ave Maria' every so often. As for your friend in West Palm. Please see what's possible.
Just wanted to thank you for helping me the other day and remind you about that friend of yours in West Palm with some musical talent. If you ever want to come to Belle Glade and play those Bagpipes, the offer is open :) Have you been practicing?
Hey it's Daniel Bone!! What up?!? My summer has been awesome! I'm leaving for NJ tomorow, so I guess it's good I got a chance get on the site. I haven't been on Ning in months. But yeah, life's been good. Got lot's o' valuable discernment done, and Iam really, really looking forward to the new year.
How's about you? You holding up all right in Flint? Are you able to get involved in any parish or youth group type thing? Keep me posted, I promise I'll be better about checking this Ning thing!!
It's my new HOME-SCHOOLED buddy!!! I was hoping that Fr. Franco would've brought you over to the house to wake us up with the bagpipes on Sunday morning. Oh well, maybe next time. Prayin for ya, and lookin forward to seein you again soon.
I know what you mean. I sometime wish I could just head back to the house and through myself into studies and CCD harder than ever. I love the ammount of stuff we do there. It makes everything seem so muuch easier when you can work hard. I see why Don Bosco and Don Rua and all them were such hard workers. I should show off my hair. Hmm... A friend of mine stuck cake in my face last night then got a picture, I'll use that one. Good to hear from you Trong. Keep it holy!
things could be better, i missed my plane to japan, and had to walk home from the airport (i don't think the public transportation will take Japanese Yen). So i leave tomorrow. but hey, i'm still going; so i think something is looking up. how 'bout you justin? what's happening?
I'm 18. I have lived in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area of Michigan all my life. I have six brothers and sisters. Two of them are older than I the rest are younger. I play the bagpipes, paint pointless models, read the works and lives of the saints.
How did you hear of the Salesians?
Don Bosco, ever since my dad introduced me to him (my dad's favorite Saint is Dominic Savio), has been my biggest inspiration. That naturally lead me to the Salesians. At a young age, can't remember when, I felt the call to the priesthood. I followed that call first by looking into the Diocese of Lansing, my home diocese, but I am certain that isn't where God is calling me. Next step was orders. The first order I looked into was the Salesians. The rest is history.
What do you think God is calling you to?
I beleive God is calling me first and formost to a relationship with Him in the Blessed Sacrement. Secondly to be a better person and a son of Mary. But as for the future I leave it to Him. My firm belief at this point is that He wants a Salesian out of me. But that's entirely up to Him.
please pray my sons 13 year old daughter be given to him as she is in anti christian abusive home with mom and grandpa. thank you so much in jesus name
