Most definitely I can help you out with math if you ever need it. But it doesn't sound like you need my help with a 4.0 GPA! I may have to ask you for help :)
As for your family and friends not being Catholic. Two things: One is that I'm wondering what religion do they practice. And two, is that I think that is what Christianity is all about. Standing up for you faith no matter what others might say or think about it/you. I think of the maryters who gave up their lives for Jesus, their faith and what they believed! maybe you're not up to join that group yet, but I think your situation is a great opportunity to see what you really believe instead of just going along with the crowd. Just don't get to self-righteous about what you believe and let Jesus do all the talking (through your life and just the way you live). Well, i"d better stop now. God bless and congratulations on the weight and the grades! Keep up the great work!
But of course you can have my email again. I've lost many a thing myself.
It's: rmalusa@hotmail.com
Life in Florida is great. I don't know why people from up north wait till they retire to come down here? :) The range of emotions that I have with these kids definitely make me feel blessed.
So how are things with you? What have you been doing these days?
Whether or not you have my email, you're in my prayers.
Hi Daniel! I can only imagine how difficult it is for you to practice and share our faith there. But being in an un-Catholic area, you are, in a way, a missionary representing our Church to all people there. Don Bosco's spirituality is that of a missionary spirit among boys who hardly knew the faith. He wrote much to defend the Catholic faith among attacks from many Protestants by starting the "Catholic Readings" publication, which was a Catholic magazine/newspaper. Because he was so successful in defending and spreading the faith, that they tried, unsuccessfully, to bribe and assassinate him a few times.
What city are you in? Check out masstimes.org. It has a listing Catholic Masses and Churches all over the world. Specifically in Michigan, I see quite a few churches and communities listed.
Hi Daniel! Sorry, for the delay :-) Yes, I would be glad to see you up here. You can check out what the Novitiate life is all about. How are you doing? Where are you now?
