Hi Christine, it was so good to see you at Marian Day and at the Spirituality Covocation last week. I hope that you found the conferences you attended to be profitable. I went to the one given by Mother Agnes Mary Donovan of the Sisters of Life. She was really dynamic. I brought home the CD of her talk as I want to listen to it often. I'm sorry that I could not catch very much of Fr. Benedict's talk. I could not hear him very well. I think that our new Archbishop is going to be a breath of fresh air in the diocese. He is so friendly and outgoing; a joyful witness to the love of Jesus. Take care of yourself. Enjoy to the full the wonderful feasts coming up--Trinity Sunday, Corpus Christi and the Feast of the Sacred Heart. May His presence fill you to overflowing. Judy
I miss you, Pip. How are you doing???
We are becoming postulants on oct 5... I cannot believe that it is coming so soon....
I really miss talking to you... but next Aug we will be living together again... that is so crazy to think about how fast time flies!
Can you email me Tracey;s new email? I lost it... and I'd like to email her. Thanks!
Happy to make your acquaintance! Postulancy is such a wonderful time of discovery and learning! It also offers challenges, such as being far from home as you are. I am sure that the novitiate will be in Newton now. Newton is such a lovely place. How much longer will you be a postulant? I had entered another Order many years ago but unfortunately learned that the Religious life was not my vocation. The Salesian Family is the best thing that has happened to me. It is a real family to me and hope that you will find it so as well.
I'd like to be your friend. Please do not hesitate to contact me. I will support and encourage you every step of the way and certainly keep you in prayer.
It was nice to be at Sacred Heart. Though we didn't have much exchange time, I enjoyed seeing and talking to you and Josey. You ladies have a great place for novitiate. I saw two bears (a mother and her child) crossing the street nearby. Watch out for those bears now! :-)
Hey so I didn't mean to not hang out with you this weekend, I totally wasn't ignoring you :) Next time y'all have to hang with us more! Miss ya till I see ya!
I am a 26 year old woman from New Jersey. I am currently a Novice with the Salesian Sisters of Saint John Bosco.
I love chocolate and peanut butter, especially PB&J sandwiches (go figure a Culinary Arts degree, and my favorite foods are PB&J and Mac and Cheese :)
I am extremely proud to be Irish, I think that even at times it goes from being proud to obsessed :) My favorite color is green even though I look like a blueberry everyday. I love the mountains, and the ocean. I am a compulsive pen, pencil, and post-it hoarder (if anyone knows of any meetings I can attend for this please let me know).
I love Don Bosco and the Salesian Family. There is nothing that I wouldn't do to carry on Don Bosco's dream. The Salesian Charism is all that I am.
To all the youth of today, tomorrow, and all to come...like in the words of Don Bosco:
“For you I study, for you I work, for you I live, for you I am ready even to give my life."
All that I am and hope to be is for the young :)
How did you hear of the Salesians?
I was a youth minister in my parish, and began working with one of the Salesian Sisters at my local Diocesan youth center.
In addition to its strong spiritual life, I have found in the Salesian Family a real family. Anytime there is a gathering that takes in many or all of the Family, it is like being a great big family reunion. It is always a time of renewal, a vivif...
Being in formation with the Salesians, I enjoy the contact with Salesian Sisters and Cooperators. They give great witnesses with their life and work. The Sisters have been like sisters and mothers to me. The Cooperators make the Salesian so real b...

Say hi to all for me. :)
Jaden Tran is her name, just like you :)
So good to see you guys, the holy novices today.
Have a good and prayerful year.
A quick question: How do you spell Jaydan's name (I just spelled it by sound here) and what is her last name?
Thanks,
Fr. Dominic, sdb
