- Mike, Don Bosco would say, "The salesian should not only love the child, but the child must know that he/she is loved." Once you reach that trust, you have access to their soul and being a man of prayer you will lead their soul to heaven.

"May's love" ? mmmm Maybe I was think of spring (already?) and the end of the school year. No, I was meaning to say "Mary's love".

School starts for Berkeley Students this week. As a public school teacher, I am always looking for ways to evangelize with out getting fired. So, I am aiming to be loving and therefore supportive and challenging. Yet, I would like to learn more about the Salesian educational philosophy. So, here is my question: What tips do you have for me to incorporate Salesian ideas into my teaching? I guess if I am centered in The Holy Spirit, and open to May's love, than that may be "enough"
