Happy Feast of St. Dominic Savio!  May you all receive blessings and grace through his intercession!

Querido Mike Vaughn,
A dica que te dou vai depender de sua criatividade, siga o exemplo de nosso Avó D. Bosco, ele sempre foi famoso por ensinar o Método Preventivo as crianças atráves de brincadeiras, mas na realidade eram extremamente sérias.
Pense nisso.

Dominic Savio's readiness to be used by Don Bosco was what enhanced his immediate growth in holiness even while still alive; I will be the material and you will be the tailor" - Savio.

I think that the spirituality of St. Dominic Savio inspires the hearts of all the young people that God calls to His service.

Mike, Don Bosco would say, "The salesian should not only love the child, but the child must know that he/she is loved." Once you reach that trust, you have access to their soul and being a man of prayer you will lead their soul to heaven.

"May's love" ? mmmm Maybe I was think of spring (already?) and the end of the school year. No, I was meaning to say "Mary's love".

School starts for Berkeley Students this week. As a public school teacher, I am always looking for ways to evangelize with out getting fired. So, I am aiming to be loving and therefore supportive and challenging. Yet, I would like to learn more about the Salesian educational philosophy. So, here is my question: What tips do you have for me to incorporate Salesian ideas into my teaching? I guess if I am centered in The Holy Spirit, and open to May's love, than that may be "enough"

Just a thought.

Dominic Savio is alive in our hearts!

It's easy to become a saint and Dominic has proven that.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday, my dear brothers and sisters! Yes, it is your birthday and mine. How appropriate that we celebrate this birthday with music, candles and a special meal, the Eucharist. I don't know about you, but I have been feeling a great need for a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit in my life. Jesus said that He had come to light a fire upon the earth and He was longing for it to be lit. I so desire that this fire be lit in me anew. Let us pray for each other that the Spirit of love and life…See More
